Founded in 2010, Tugs, LLC is built around our original product, Tugs sunglass retainers. Tugs are a unique sunglass accessory that are much more than just a retainer for your shades; they are a fashion accessory designed to complement your clothing and lifestyle.

Tugs were inspired from our years spent at the University of Florida.  Seeing nicely dressed men and women at the University wearing sunglass retainers intended for a more rugged environments seemed out of place. Tugs were created as an alternative to the traditional sunglass retainer and as a classic complement to your clothing and lifestyle.

The very first line of Tugs were made of simple blue seersucker - perfect for adding to your summer wardrobe. However, demand for Tugs necessitated the development of seasonal colors and fabrics suited to a casual lifestyle. We now create a variety of Tugs and apparel items intended to add elegance to anyone’s wardrobe.

The small town values of Old Florida are what provide the foundation for Tugs, LLC; a diligence for quality and a level of service inspired by the tradition of southern hospitality.
